Earthquake activity will pick up dramatically as we pass through the 2012 era. Major earthquakes occur withing days of both X and M class solar flairs. Japan is not finished and will sink further had hit higher density populations. The Cascadia fault will be the next major earthquake. Its geology is similar to Japan and will cause a tsunami in an area that is too populated for this level of danger. The last time the Cascadia fault produced a 9+ was January 1700. This will be a major event. Subduction zone earthquakes are the biggest at 9+ These are the mega thrusts that create tsunami.

Stay away from low lying coastal areas when solar flairs are occurring. We are in solar cycle 24 which will bring about major crustal shifts. You have seen what happens in these areas. Do not think that you are invulnerable. Nature is much more powerful than you know. In the 1400's a subduction quake caused a 600' tsunami. No building codes will protect you from that kind of power.
The New Madrid fault will crack open causing the Great Lakes to drain into the Gulf of Mexico. Some Major cities are at risk. (Memphis, St. Louis) This fault system has a very weak underlying structure which leads to 8+ earthquakes. The New Madrid leads into the Wabash to the north and the
